Breathwork Offerings

Inhale…take a deep breathe in and up through your body…

And Exhale…fully release and let go of your breath.

How does that feel, to take a conscious, deep breath?

This active breathwork takes you on a journey beyond the veil, allowing access to your subconscious mind and transcendental states. The territory you are ready to release, alchemize, or explore is revealed. Through vibrational energy, insights, visions, sensations, and intuition, you receive what you most need, as you trust in the intelligence of your breath to show you. This is empowered wellbeing.

Breathe with me ~ 1:1 sessions

1:1 Breathwork Journeys are an opportunity for you to go deep into the territory you are facing in your life right now. These sessions are for profound healing and transformation. There will be time for sharing, asking questions, and setting you up for integration at the end of the session.

These sessions are offered virtually or can be in person, if desired and possible. We will confirm location when you reserve and details will be sent for how to prepare. (Main location: Carbondale, CO)

60 minute - tune up

90 minute - go deeper

2 hour - new client or deep dive

Breathe with me ~ Group sessions

Experience the power of generating collective energy and coherence with group breathwork. Everyone will have their own personal journey as well, while also feeling the unified field of consciousness that connects us all. Group breathwork sessions focus on a theme for the journey together. We will begin with a discussion on the territory we’ll explore through the theme, share intentions, and then lie down for the breathwork journey. There will be time for sharing, asking questions, and setting you up for integration at the end of the session.

These sessions are most often offered virtually. When you register, you will receive details for how to prepare.

“I know it’s “just breath” and we breathe everyday, but I have questions!” Excellent, I have answers and I have tried to provide them below.

  • I am trained in a variety of breathwork practices for various purposes. The breath we will work with in 1:1 sessions is an active breath that is used to get you out of your mind and into your body. It is breathWORK in that it does take active work, especially in the first 5-7 minutes, when the breath takes over and breathes you. This is typically when the mind lets go and you begin to feel energy moving.

This breath is done lying down and breathing through your mouth, in a two part inhale and one exhale. You inhale into your belly, into your chest, and then exhale in a release. For everyday healthy breathing, you want to inhale through your nose. For this practice, we breathe through the mouth because it helps us take in more air and let go of our mental body.

The simple breathing pattern is repeated throughout the session, as I hold space and offer guidance for you. This breath quiets the cognitive mind and takes you into subconscious and transcendental states for physical healing, emotional processing, mental clarity, and spiritual connection.

This breath generates vibrational energy that intuitively moves through you to reveal what you most need. The vibration gives you the opportunity to experience a state of empowered wellbeing.

We will discuss more about the breathwork technique in our session together.

  • Both 1:1 sessions and group sessions are highly transformative and one is not better than the other.

Take a deep breath into your heart and tune into your intuition first. What is really calling to you?

Joining the group sessions is a great way to be with community and develop an ongoing practice. It is insightful to experience the evolution of your practice and how your body and heart respond to the different themes presented. There is power in breathing together, as the collective energy builds and generates a field around us that can amplify your individual experience. It can also be helpful to witness the experiences others are having, as this can open doors to possibility for you and your practice.

1:1 sessions are excellent for going deep into your personal journey. You receive focused attention and therefore guidance that is specific to you, your intention, and what is happening in the present moment during the session. There is more opportunity to talk about the territory you’re exploring in life and then how to integrate the messages and experience you receive from the breath. 1:1 sessions are also particularly good if you are working through sensitive territory that you would like to keep private.

It can be very helpful to work with both 1:1 and group sessions. There is no right or wrong way to go about this. When you show up to breathe, the breath becomes the guide.

  • People are often surprised at how powerful the remote/ virtual breathwork sessions are. It is not only possible, but expected, to have virtual breathwork sessions that are just as powerful as those in person.

For some, it is preferred to be in the safety and comfort of their own space when they are journeying as deep as we do with the breath. Our time is such a precious resource. For some, remote sessions are a powerful way to participate while not having to travel. AND, it is very cool to breathe with people around the world, as I find that when we breathe together, we do so on behalf of everyone.

How does it work to do it remotely? We are working with the proven principle of non-locality, that shows us we are connected beyond space and time. I take great care to set the energetic container and hold safe, strong, and clear space for you, both in person and remotely.

I have healing tools that I use during breath sessions, such as essential oils, tuning forks, sage, and stones. When we work together remotely, I invite you to bring any tools that support you and I also use myself as a proxy for you, for example; if I were to apply an oil to your body in person, I will apply it to my own body on your behalf when we meet virtually.

For in person sessions, this proxy method can also be used if someone requests to not be touched.

I use little to no touch in my sessions, in person or remote, and only with prior consent.

  • My recommendation is to tune into your body and heart, take a deep breath, and see what you feel you most need. There is no right or wrong time. Here is some guidance to consider:

60 minute sessions: These are great sessions for a “tune up” or if you are doing ongoing breathwork, such as once a week or once a month. The breathwork portion will be ~45 minutes, which leaves 15 minutes to check-in at the beginning and wrap-up at the end. It will help to come with a clear intention.

90 minute sessions: These sessions allow us time to go deeper before and after the breathwork portion. We will discuss what you’re working on and craft a clear intention. The breathing will be ~45 minutes and the rest of the time will be used for guidance on integrating the experience into your life.

120 minute sessions: These sessions are typically ideal for experienced clients who are familiar with the breath and prefer an extended breathwork portion, ~60+ minutes with extra time for guidance and processing, both before and after breathing. And/or these sessions are ideal for any client who is interested in more time for coaching before and after the breathwork.

*For new clients, the 90 or 120 minute options are ideal, so we have more time to dig into what you’re working with in your life and wanting from our work together.

*Please note that a lot can happen during a short breathwork session. You do not need to breathe for hours to have a profound experience.

  • The session begins as soon as you say yes. Begin to notice your thoughts, emotions, and choices. Notice what turns you off and what turns you on, what triggers you and what inspires you. Bring it all to your session.

You will receive an email with details on how to prepare your body and space.

You can begin now by noticing your breath throughout the day and see what it has to tell you. Are you holding your breath? Are your breaths smooth and steady or shallow in your chest?

Take note with gentle curiosity. I recommend journaling anything that comes up. You can also begin to feel into your intention and what you would like to explore and receive in your session.

  • You can think of this breath like a positive stressor, like exercise. You will be oxygenating your body and it may feel like a workout. You may feel sensations and vibration in your body and/or an elevated heart rate from this. You are always welcome to turn down the volume and pace of your breath. It is important for you to feel safe.

If you have any concerns or this sounds like more activity than you are comfortable with, please check with your doctor first.

  • My primary role as your guide is to hold space and keep you safe so that you can go all in with the breathwork, physically and emotionally. An experienced guide helps you prepare for the journey and cares for the energy and your safety as a witness to your empowered practice.

A guide is really useful in helping you stay with the breath in the early stages when it is more work and also if you journey into a dreamlike/ altered state. I will bring you back to the breath and make sure you are doing the technique correctly so you receive all of the benefits.

It is also my role to intuitively offer guidance and use healing tools (such as prompts for making sound, affirmations, sage, essential oils, etc. to help with the flow and processing of energy). We will work with a curated playlist for the session too.

Also, remember this is both energy work and embodiment work. You will be generating an altered state of reality within and it is helpful to have a guide who is experienced in navigating these states of being. This also translates into skilled intention setting beforehand and appropriate integration afterwards.

It may help to think of this like yoga. You will have a different experience if you are guiding yourself than if you have a 1:1 teacher guiding, adjusting, and offering wisdom. Even if you the teacher is not explicitly sharing yogic philosophy and science, they are designing the practice and witnessing what’s happening for you with all of that knowledge in mind.

  • There is no right answer here. It is safe practice everyday, although it is not necessary to do a deep dive session that often. You will likely experience that a lot of emotional territory and insights are revealed in the session and I recommend working with that information in between sessions, to create lasting change and impact in your life.

In a retreat setting, it can be profound to experience breathwork everyday and see how your experience unfolds and reveals more, each journey as part of an overarching journey.

No two sessions are alike, so I recommend not going in with expectations or to attempt to recreate an experience you had before. Your intention may stay the same for a chapter in your life and you can follow the golden thread through a series of breathwork journeys to go deeper and wider into exploring that intention. Trust the intelligence of your body and stay open to possibilities.

  • You may hear that breathwork is a great practice for integrating psychedelic experiences or other types of peak or mystical experiences. This is true! But why and how does it work? (especially when we talk about integrating the breathwork journey itself)

These altered states of reality often transcend our ordinary human senses and shift our awareness of what is real and our belief in what is possible. This can be exhilarating and can also shake up our sense of reality and sense of self. There is both responsibility and opportunity in exploring these states and then incorporating them into our lives.

Remember, breathwork is both energy work and an embodiment practice. It helps us to ground into our body and experience our innate intelligence from within the safety of our physical form. Because you are accessing the transcendental state through the power of your own breath, you have some sense of control that is greater than when you take an external substance.

Therefore, it can help you access the altered state to remember and alchemize the frequency of it. Breathwork can also help you return to the state you experienced to work further with metabolizing emotions and insights. Breathwork reminds you of your power as it is sourced from within.

A psychedelic journey often gives you the curriculum for your current phase of life and breathwork is like the homework that helps the wisdom to really land and become grounded in your body and felt experience. It also is a great practice to use in preparing for a psychedelic journey, as it helps you to practice letting go of your mind and opening to the unknown. Both breathwork and psychedelics help you explore subconscious and supernatural terrain.

So what about integration from breathwork itself? It is still a potent experience! To receive the most benefit, it is helpful to stay intimate with your experience through writing it down in a journal or doing a voice recording. From there, there are many practices you can use to bring what you received into your day to day life. Please visit the Work With Me tab on my website for a custom designed 1:1 integration container. You can also check out my substack: Full Circle, where I write about practices for creating transformation and impact in your life. All of the offerings at Full Circle Wellbeing help with creating conscious transformation and empowered wellbeing in your life.

  • Often people who have experienced the power of breathwork become interested in facilitating it. It is a gift to get to share this gift with the world!

The first thing I would recommend, is so develop an intimate relationship with the practice itself. Truly get to know breathwork through your own experience. Try different types of breathwork and notice what you prefer, what questions you have, and anything that arises to explore. Notice the container the facilitator holds and how you feel in their presence. What works well for you and what doesn’t?

I also recommended reading, studying, and developing other therapeutic practices for exploring your internal world, what holds you back, what triggers you, what makes you feel the most alive, what stories you have, your sense of purpose, and your intentions for facilitating breathwork. It is essential to be doing your own internal work — on your wounds and gifts, shadows and light — to grow your capacity to hold space for others’ healing and transformation. This is not a ‘fake it till you make it’ situation, but rather a ‘practice and embody it until you become it’ one. You must cultivate the ability to regulate your own nervous system as a tuning fork for others and to be a safe, steady, and grounded presence.

It is not uncommon to feel breathwork is easy to facilitate…”We’re “just” breathing” after all. Please know that there are a lot of surrounding skills to learn and practice to be able to facilitate effectively.

My journey led me to become certified as a healing breathwork facilitator with David Elliott. He has been a facilitator of healing and breathwork for many decades. I also studied breathwork with SOMA Breath. I am an AddHeart Facilitator with HeartMath Institute, which is a wonderful addition, offering heart coherence with breathwork.

I have practiced transformational breath, Wim Hof breathwork, holotropic breathwork, shamanic breathwork, and other approaches to breathwork too.

Try them all out. Ask good questions. Take notes. Talk to facilitators. And most importantly, listen to your heart and the breath and let it be your guide.

From healing to transcendence, breathwork invites you to consciously work with your lifeforce energy, as a bridge to presence and possibilities.
